Let Me In
I feel like I need to start this review with a little disclaimer: Stillia are one of my favourite bands. I genuinely have to think hard to come up with a band who work as hard as they do and who have a passion to rival Stillia’s. Now, under the wing of Ben and his team at Republic, they are reaping the rewards of all that hard work. New(ish) track Let Me In has been hugely anticipated on social media and, with this being a #latereview, I’m able to write that all the anticipation has deservedly led to Let Me In being a huge success. It has been featured on Soccer AM, Sunday Brunch, streamed nearly 30,000 times and the band even managed to rope in celebrity Stillia aficionado Johnny Vegas to direct an incredible video (see above). Let Me In has been to Stillia what Homesick was to Catfish and The Bottlemen. It’s raw and accessible pure indie feel is exactly what it’s target market want to hear and makes you instantly want to hear more of what they have to offer.
It’s the perfect showcase of what the band are capable of and as a result of this the band have been able to build upon the already insanely high number of Stillia fanatics. Because of this things can only continue to get bigger and better for Stillia.
Does anyone deserve it more? Probably not. Long live Stillia
